We joined our families on mangrove-planting visits through Young Indians. Over the years, we got to know people in the villages.
Our Journey
How We Began.
We began with mangrove visits. Conversations about periods led us to explore affordable pads.
Talking About Periods
Girls our age spoke about the cost of pads and the difficulty of washing and drying cloth privately. We wanted to understand what would make access easier.
Planning A Local Unit
In Class 11 at RPGIS, we researched machines, materials and costs. With Kishalay Foundation and the panchayat, we helped prepare a room and arrange training for local women.

Working Through Concerns
